This was a bit of a topsy-turvy week as we all tried to get used to a new schedule of taking F to school at 8 am and picking him up around noon. Plus it rained heavily most of the week (I think we got about 5 inches in four days) so the children were cooped up inside and very energetic. And I had a bunch of sewing to get done for a family wedding so I dropped some other things from the schedule to compensate. Here’s what things looked like:
Physical: no exercise aside from a little jump-rope.
Spiritual: I’ve managed to have devotions every morning before posting. Unfortunately this has also meant that sometimes I don’t post 🙁 so I need to figure out what to do about that.
Household: On the days when I stuck to the schedule and did my 15 minute housekeeping blocks, things went well. On several days though I couldn’t figure out how to get it all in. I’m going to have to take some time to replan our weekly routine and daily schedule now that we’ve had a week of school and I’ve got more of a sense of what it’s like.
