Today is Rally Sunday when we start talking about all of the wonderful things we will be doing together during the school year. Yesterday we cleaned up the church and church grounds again, trimming bushes, polishing brass, dusting and so on. Now today we’ll have church and then a meal, and talk to one another about what Sunday School will be like this year, what outreach we are looking at and other important things. We’ll renew our baptismal vows as a congregation and encourage one another to press on through Ordinary Time (just ten more weeks).
