The late afternoon/early evening is becoming a favorite time of day. The children are often outside playing. School is completed for the day. Dinner is cooking and I can just take some time to tidy up before I call them in for chores, baths, kitchen helper etc.
Just now they are outside playing “puppy”. I think Su is the puppy and F is the trainer (no surprise there)! I’m not sure what role W is filling but they are getting along and enjoying each other.
In a bit I’ll call them to come in and help with cleaning up and get F to make the salad for dinner. Su and I will set the table for our weekly open house and W will spend some time doing puzzles or books in his playpen…
