My parents are out of town this year for Christmas so we’re saving our family get-together for Epiphany. Instead we’re having some friends over for Christmas Dinner tomorrow.
This morning we got started with the cooking. S took W took the grocery store in the bike trailer and Su and F helped me make scalloped potatoes.
F is quite good at operating the food processor. He sliced potatoes as I peeled them.
Su was peeling garlic- a good job for little pointed fingers.
The ham ready for a low oven, with a tight cover and some seasonings. It will cook for about 6 hours I think.
A bit of a mess but it won't take long to clear it!
