June- 3 in 30 Challenge

It’s the second of June and time to see how I did with my May goals.

Physical: I ate a lot of salads and I can tell I lost weight, but since I have no scale I don’t know how much!I haven’t done so well on walking with the children in the? afternoons so I’ll repeat that goal this month.

June Physical:

  • Walk with the children every day after naps.
  • Stretch thoroughly three times per week.

Spiritual: I’m still not managing devotions every day but I’m having them almost every day and have started having devotions with the children as well.

June Spiritual:

  • Daily devotions alone and with children
  • Thanksgiving Journal

Household: Finish the laundry by Wednesday every week??? What was I thinking? I’m changing that goal to: Wash no more laundry in a day than I can have folded and put away by 5 pm.

School: Plan mid-summer unit studies, make copies etc. and have ready to roll at the beginning of mid-summer session.

Personal Time: prioritize projects and then complete them in priority order…..

I’ll be checking in over at 3 in 30 Challenge throughout the month, so meet me there or ask me how it’s going over here.

Ha! I am terrible at actually folding and storing away clothes after washing them… Idk why. I just really don’t like doing it. lol. Good luck with your goals this month! 🙂

  2. I divide my goals into Physical, Spiritual and Personal, too!

What is it about putting the laundry away?? I can wash all day long, and don’t mind it, but when it comes to putting it away, I get shang-hii’ed.

    Good luck!

Yeah, I don’t know what it is about putting it away…The children actually do a good bit of it and I only have to check behind them, but I just don’t want to touch that laundry one more time after washing and folding it…K

I love how you have your goals divided. I need to keep that in mind. I am the same way with laundry. I love to get it done, but can’t STAND to fold it. Good Luck this month!

Love your goals! The laundry goal made me laugh out loud. Having clean laundry piled up in baskets doesn’t make me feel better, the laundry is not really “done” until it’s put away.

Stephanie: Exactly and since the chest freezer doubles as folding space it really is a pain to have to move the laundry in order to start dinner…K

Those are great goals! I love getting out with my girls at least once a day – the fresh air does them good!

Lately here it’s been really hot and Su has asthma so I have to be careful of air quality and exertion with her…but it is good to get out together…they spend huge amounts of time in the yard but walking with Mama is different somehow…K
