Salvage Grocery Shopping

The other day I decided that I needed to do a bit more to reduce our grocery bill and better manage our resources. When we lived in the western part of the state I had access to several very fine “salvage” or “scratch and dent”? grocery stores so I thought I would see if there were any here.

I knew there had been one in town when we lived here before and a quick google search revealed that there are actually two now! This may be a bonanza or not depending on the store. Since I’m not very good at remembering numbers and prices I thought I should make a quick list of things to looks for in a discount grocery store.
