In the Collect for this Sixth Sunday in Easter we pray “O God, who hast prepared for those who love thee such
good things as pass man?s understanding:”
and St. Paul says: “…my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19)
Do we live as if we believe these things to be true? Not just a head nod of “Yes, I acknowledge that God is good and is good to us.” but a true deep down belief, a certainty that we can rest upon?
If we do, it should effect our lives in their smallest detail. How do we live that belief? How do we know we believe it?
If we don’t believe it what do our lives show that we do believe?
