How does a four day week feel so much busier than a five day one? Tomorrow I leave the children and S to go to the 2:1 Conference for the weekend. One day less than normal, a few more things to do than normal and I feel like I’ve been running in place all week!
Still we did school, and went to ballet and sports classes, and got the soaker hose rigged in the front garden.
This afternoon we’ll take the children to my folks for a couple of hours, while S and I have a quick date.
In the meantime I’m doing laundry, putting out clothes for the weekend, and watering my garden…
