Since there are so many trees in Hollywood Cemetery I thought we would spend our walk this month trying to identify as many of them as we can. I found a great printable on Pinterest for identifying leaves which you can either print yourself or I’ll bring one set for everyone to share.
By the way I do pin Nature Study stuff for Preschool and Elementary School students pretty regularly so check out my Nature Study Board for other resources and some nature study crafts.
Looks like the weather will be sunny but chilly tomorrow, layers are good and water bottles will be helpful. The paths stay fairly dry even with a good rain so boots probably aren’t necessary….
Third Tuesday in December is the 17th so it would be helpful to know what you all think about having the Nature Walk next month or not.
